HOW TO USE YOUR PENDULUM
Synergy is energy that expands through cooperation. Crystal and Semi-precious gemstones are alive with energy, as are your thoughts. Pendulums are tools that pick up on your energy, and move (or swing) in an effort to translate the energetic body.
Pendulums work cooperatively with your energy to transcribe your intentions, helping you release stuck energy, and live to your highest potential.
To use a pendulum hold it by the end of the chain, on the stone opposite of the point crystal. Be sure to hold it away from your body sop that when it swings it cannot hit you. We recommend using one hand to make sure the weighted portion is still and hold the other hand an inch or so below the point of the crystal.
Next, keeping the hand holding the pendulum perfectly still, say to the pendulum, "show me yes". If it works, you will see the pendulum move, either in a circular motion or back and forth. Now ask the pendulum, "show me no". Once you have seen what "yes" and "no" look like to you (it can vary from person to person), you can start asking questions like "Is name Betty?" or "Is today Tuesday?"
It's important to relax and clear your mind so as to focus only on the question being asked when using a pendulum. It can be quite easy to project the answer you want into your reading, but with time and practice, you will start to get a sense of whether or not the reading is effective.
The pendulum can be used to answer "yes" or "no" questions. If you ask a question and the pendulum doesn't respond, rephrase the question or ask again at another time. Basically, this is a tool to tap into your intuition, or alternatively, your Higher Self, to get information. For this reason, it works best if you are asking questions about things that are in your power to control, i.e. "Should I consider changing jobs at this time?" or "Is so-and-so someone that I can trust?"
Once you have some experience with the pendulum, it is possible to find out information for someone else if you know the person quite well. I have used the pendulum to diagnose illness in my children.
Check it out and have some fun with it, but always remember that it is you and your own free will that really controls your destiny. The future is written in pencil, feel free to erase and rewrite your destiny until you have created an intention that worth manifesting.
